Byron Bay

Yesterday I started a two day trip to Byron Bay. Probably most of you had already heard about this place, maybe better known as God's own Earth. It's a pretty nice place here but until lunch the weather was as bad as the day before.
I took a bike from the quite luxery hostel - with a pool in front of my room!!!- and made a "mountainbike" tour up to the lighthouse.

Suddenly the conditions changed rapidly in the right direction and the real landscape went out. One word: Amazing!
Along the way I met a nice german girl. She is also travelling through the east coast and gave me some tips for my awaiting trip to fraser island.
Tobi, at the evening we tried out your restaurant recommendation "balcony". A bit expensive but very fine.
In a few hours I will take the bus back to Brisbane to join the "Shout out Louds" concert! I think they also played at the frequency festival last week...
